We did it again......well done!

Walking On The Bright Side is my request to every hospice in the UK to get one of their supporters to undertake organising a team of a minimum of 10 people to take part in a 10K fundraising walk in their locality, aiming to raise a minimum of £50 per walker. Each walk will start at the same time on the same day all over the UK

Good Friday!
I’m saying ‘one of their supporters’ because I’m conscious of the pressures on fundraising departments and this walk doesn’t need to add to their workload

"The Hospice movement has helped to transform people's attitude to the end of life and has given immense comfort for those who are terminally ill.
And the reason is very simple: the Hospice movement is more interested in the person than in the illness and although people think it is about dying, it is actually about making life easier for those who are coming towards the end.
It is about love as well as care. And I know from many people who have been in hospices, including my own wife, what an atmosphere of warmth and friendship there is.
I hope that Walking on the Bright Side will help to strengthen public understanding of the Hospice movement and raise the funds they need."
